Features will roll out in stages as new updates are made available until the official release. Since it’s still a public beta, not all features announced at WWDC 2021 will be available just yet. If you want to check out watchOS 8 public beta, you will first need to upgrade your paired iPhone to iOS 15 Public Beta first.

We recommend taking a backup of your current device before loading the public beta on your devices. Having said that, do keep in mind that iOS 15 is still in Beta which means you may come across bugs and app crashes since it's still in the testing phase. The public beta is free for everyone to use on Apple devices that support the latest update. The new update has been available to developers for a while however if you want to check it out for yourself, you can do so now. Apple’s latest update of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS are now available for everyone to try as a Public Beta.
